Another nomad

A colleague just told me he is leaving to Thessaloniki and then Cyprus for a month taking all his work with him. I jumped at hearing that because 1) I am very jealous (the soonest I can go abroad is in a month) 2) it is the first person I met in Poland that shares same view on work as me.
Plus it reminded me how much I can't wait to go to my favourite places.

Really, REALLY pissed off

I think I am at the point that not only I don't want to be attached to any place by work, but also don't want to deal with people at work, or as little as possible. Hmm what can this be?

Mercy!

First the catastrophe and now after 1 month the flood and evacuation of thousands of people, next week heavy thunderstorms are coming. What's next????

Fraud

Just called my bank as on my account it said 'Card destroyed'. And they did that because they could not contact me (indeed I do not have the phone number I gave them) and they got a message from Visa that my card info was stolen among other cards info. So they blocked it just in case. Financial info gets stolen no matter how good the security systems are...

Moved in!

First night back in my new-old apartment:) I was moving-in in pouring rain. It's still very empty , some things are just temporary and so many things need to be bought. How long will I live here I wonder, till I am 80? Or just till next summer? Will it be my place for good? We'll see :)

Shopping in Poland -B

Today we went with my cousin for a shopping getaway to Mińsk - a small city, not even 50 km East from Warsaw - to explore shopping opportunities there. And we were stunned! In this little 'hole' we spent A LOT. But most importantly I found my recent favourite brand- Desigual - which I saw only in one store in Warsaw so far. I love it since when I got a beautiful black&white Desigual coat as a present and since then everyone asks me where I got it from (Greece :)) . And we went just nuts in this shop and its turnover just hit its monthly size jugdging from the sales girl excitement! Our wallets hurt but not as much as we would pay in Warsaw. So most likely we will be back. Soon :D

Post cards

I am moving and during the packing I came across about 2 kilos (!) of letters and postcards from friends from the beginning of primary school(!) till university. Pity so few people send handwritten words these days...

Ready for summer

I was taking out summer clothes from the attic and I tried the shortest shorts I have. Happy with what I saw in the mirror I say 'Summer, bring it on'! :)
