Uff

Smell of spring

There are these orange trees (not edible) here that smell like jasmin and soooo strong that it overcomes the fumes and all city odors. I take a longer way to go to 'work' just to pass by streets where these trees grow. I love this smell :)

My BIG fat Greek Easter

So this year I celebrated Easter twice - with Catholics and Orthodox . Not so much of a difference between the two I must say. For the latter we stayed 5 days with Savva's family in Drama. It was so relaxing... And the highlights were:
  • meet the grandparents :P
  • meet the first cousins, second cousins, nephews, nieces, aunts, uncles, uncles' nieces etc
  • be strongly advised to convert to the Orthodox faith by the oldest member of the family
  • win the eggs game (yes, me - the heretic- defeted the Orthodox in the traditional eggs breaking in the church)
  • join the long night discussions that my Greek knowledge could not support at some points.
And here are some charming places in Drama that I had not seen before, like this dam with sunk foundations of the church of Agia Barbara:
Amazing panorama of Drama at sunset by Savvas is HERE:

Back to Alma Mater

I had a workshop for student at Institute of Sociology regarding writing reports in market research. It was organized together with a student association of market research. Went really well and I even got applause at the end :P. Let's see if there will be more of it. It was the first non-profit activity of Aid in Research.
