Overload

I wish I could do the same as computers do. In case of critical overload - they just switch off.

The book-keeper

Just did the thing I've dreamt of - hired an accountant! No more finance stuff (which I hate) - ouff.

Pożycz kieckę - opened!

The dress rent parlour opened on Friday and it was so much fun! It was freaking cold so the outdoor party moved indoors. But even the cold did not stop us from trying the pieces we liked on and making a small runaway (several glasses of wine required to find courage!). It was also a great feeling to convince some girls they have nice bodies and are much too young to wear baggy clothes hiding what is most feminine in them. http://www.pozyczkiecke.blox.pl/

I wish I had been there!

A pic from the photo session I organized for Marta's hens' night but did not attend due to stupid flights cancellations :)

The only guy is the make-up stylist, and yes, he is THAT tall :P

Two unprecedented events in our history in 7 days.

This has been the weirdest 7 days I remember. Poland faces two extraordinary events of massive consequences. The unbelievable catastrophy, long conducts of coffins carried every day through the city, and national mourning seen everywhere.Amazing how people really slowed down and observed silence. I must add the organisation of all the events by the municipal and state authorities has been absolutely perfect. Now the ash cloud grounded thousands of people in the whole Europe.
Two unprecedented events in our history in 7 days.

Dilemma

Recently I can't complain on lack of ideas. They are exciting but seems if I execute them, they will anchor me in Warsaw. Not sure I am ready for that yet...

Vigil outside the presidential palace

Went in the evening with friends to light a candle outside the presidential palace as tens of thousands of people.Above - the Castle Square, next to the Presidential palace (source: www .gazeta.pl)

National mourning

88 key polish politicians died in a plane crash including the Polish presidential couple, most of the key staff of the presidential office, dozens of parliament members, head of the army, head of the national bank and heads of the key state institutions.
The whole country is in shock.
The irony is they were on the way to commemorate slaughter of polish officers and intellectuals murdered in I world war, when also a great part of the political lidership was killed.
So sad...

Speechless to hear:

"at certain age they [women] lose that glow of pure youth. It's like they hit 30 and someone puts out the light " - Roger Sterling 'Mad men'.
