New Campus of the University of Cyprus

Cyprus is one of very few countries in Europe that did not have a university until the 90ties. True, that it is a very new country too.The University of Cyprus admitted first students in 1992. 3 years ago the new campus was open (still being developed and under construction): a couple of departments, administration, sports facilities and really cool, modern and ecological students’ residential area (see the pics). It is quite a unique thing - the first university campus designed in XXI century I have seen(well, majority of universities in Europe were founded at least a century ago).
